Since its establishment in 1993, Myin Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School & Child Development Center (MTMO) has been committed to creating educational opportunities for children and young people with limited access to education, while providing the support needed for their personal growth and future development.
Over the years, we have created opportunities for children and young people who have faced limited educational access due to family circumstances, geographical challenges, and social conditions by providing education, care, and holistic development support.
The journey of Myint Thar Myo Oo began with 25 students and has gradually grown over the years through trust, collective support, and continuous dedication.
Today, MTMO stands as an educational community that integrates education, social development, and essential skills development to support children and young people in preparing for their futures.

Today, we provide:
Free educational opportunities for children from Kindergarten (KG) to Grade 9. Access to education for more than 1,700 students currently enrolled at the school.
Accommodation, meals, clothing, and essential support for students who come from remote areas and families facing social and economic challenges.
Opportunities for children and young people to develop discipline, responsibility, sports skills, artistic abilities, and life skills alongside their education.
Since 1993, MTMO has contributed to the educational journeys of more than 16,000 children and young people, including both former students and current students.
Building upon our experiences and the trust we have gained over the years, MTMO will continue to focus on improving educational quality, supporting youth development, and building a sustainable educational environment.
We believe that a child’s future opportunities should not be limited by family circumstances.
With this belief, Myint Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School & Child Development Center (MTMO) remains committed to creating better life opportunities for children and young people through education.
