Educational Philosophy

Myin Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School & Child Development Center (MTMO) believes that the purpose of education is not limited to examination results or academic achievement alone. Education should build the abilities, values, and self-confidence that children need throughout their lives.

Our fundamental belief is that every child possesses unique strengths, abilities, and potential for the future.

Therefore, we do not measure each child solely by academic results. Instead, we place importance on discovering and developing their individual interests, strengths, and unique abilities.

Some children may excel in academic subjects, while others may demonstrate outstanding abilities in sports, arts, creativity, or other areas. We believe that the role of education is not only to focus on children’s weaknesses, but also to recognize their strengths and guide them to develop and use their abilities effectively.

A child’s confidence and sense of self-worth are important foundations for their future life. Therefore, we encourage and support children to develop self-confidence, take responsibility, and discover and utilize their own potential.

Our goal is not only to nurture knowledgeable young people, but also to develop capable and morally responsible individuals who possess discipline, good character, a sense of responsibility, and a commitment to contributing to others and society.

With this purpose, we integrate education with social awareness, leadership development, sports, arts, and life skills to support the holistic growth of children and young people.

The educational philosophy of Myint Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School & Child Development Center (MTMO) is founded on recognizing the value of every child, supporting them in discovering their abilities, and guiding them to become young people who can take responsibility for and build their own lives.
