About MTMO
Myin Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School & Youth Development Charity Home is an educational and youth development institution established to provide educational opportunities while nurturing the social development and moral values of children and young people who have limited access to education.
Founded in 1993, the school has continuously created learning opportunities for children who wish to pursue an education. We are committed not only to providing academic education but also to helping our students develop the knowledge, skills, sense of responsibility, and spirit of contributing positively to society that are essential for life.
The primary mission of Myint Thar Myo Oo Monastic Education School is to nurture capable and morally responsible individuals. Guided by this mission, we strive to help our students achieve not only academic success but also develop self-discipline, strong moral character, responsibility, and the ability to build independent and meaningful lives.
Today, the school provides education from Kindergarten (KG) to Grade 9, offering free educational services to children whose access to education is limited.
For students who come from remote areas, we also provide accommodation, meals, clothing, and the care they need, while encouraging each child to discover and develop his or her individual strengths and potential.
We believe that education is not limited to what is taught in the classroom, but serves as a lifelong foundation for every individual. Therefore, alongside academic learning, we place great importance on sports, arts, youth development, and life skills to promote the holistic development of our students.
